The people behind
Heaps Healthy.
We're a small team who care about making preventative health simple, affordable and backed by evidence. We're building something we'd want for our own families.

Christopher Collins
Co-Founder
Hi, I'm Chris.
I wish I had an inspirational health transformation story to share with you. But I don't.
No dramatic before-and-after. No life-altering diagnosis.
All I've got is a story about choccy milk.
Like most of us, I struggle with discipline around food and healthy eating. Don't get me wrong — I get it right most of the time. But I also get it wrong, often. And not because I don't know any better.
We're surrounded by health information. Scroll through social media and you'd be forgiven for thinking everyone's got superhuman discipline, flawless diets and insane training routines.
But the reality is, being healthy all the time is bloody hard.
And that's really what the Heaps Healthy philosophy comes down to: Do the right thing, most of the time.
I know I shouldn't be eating heaps of highly processed, hyper-palatable foods. Yet I'm still guilty of grabbing a Twirl at the checkout, polishing off an entire packet of Tim Tams, or finding myself raiding the pantry late into the evening.
That's the modern struggle. Most of us have a pretty good idea of what we should be doing. Actually doing it consistently? That's another story.
And collectively, our habits are contributing to some pretty serious metabolic health problems.
Over the last few years, I've watched my cholesterol steadily creep up. Even after it was flagged as high, and I was given the classic advice to "cut the extra fat off your steak and move more," it continued heading in the wrong direction.
Eventually, after stumbling across some health content, I started learning more about the relationship between saturated fat and cholesterol.
Which brings me back to the choccy milk.
As it turns out, my daily ritual of a Mungalli chocolate milk (13g of saturated fat) and a Whittaker's coconut slab (13.5g) probably wasn't doing my cholesterol any favours.
Nothing wrong with the products — they're bloody delicious. The problem was how much, and how often, I was having them.
The good news? My cholesterol is now heading in the right direction, entirely through better dietary choices. And yes, the occasional choccy milk or coconut slab still makes an appearance.
Because that's the point. I'm not trying to be perfect. I'm trying to make better choices, more often.
And that experience is part of what inspired me to start Heaps Healthy.
I wanted to build something that helps everyday people better understand what's going on inside their bodies, without making health feel like an all-or-nothing pursuit.
A service that helps you know your numbers, understand what they mean, and make better choices for your health.
No perfection required. Just doing the right thing, most of the time.

Morgan Bignell
Co-Founder & Head of Exercise Physiology
Hey, I'm Morgan.
I was always a bit of a health and sport nerd as a kid. A career in Exercise Physiology was probably the least surprising choice I could have made. Studying gave me all the information, but the more I learned, the more I realised that knowing what you should do is not the hard part when it comes to health.
The hard part is figuring out what we actually need as individuals, how to build healthy habits around our life and how to improve our wellbeing without becoming obsessed with our wellbeing.
Throughout uni, I had my own struggles with back pain, anxiety and chronic health issues. My approach was to frantically research and throw every health strategy imaginable at the wall to see what stuck. Not only was it impossible to figure out what was actually working, it completely burnt me out.
Cue my realisation: your health should not be an optimisation project. Supplements, sleep tracking, cold plunges, the perfect training program, no gluten or dairy, red light therapy, meditation, mobility, massage, rest, marathon training - oh and don't forget to update your Strava!
Most people are already drowning in health information. What they need is someone to cut through the noise and tell them what actually matters for them.
When Chris pitched the idea of Heaps Healthy to me, I immediately knew why it needed to exist: to provide clear, personalised, evidence-based health advice without the intimidation, exclusivity or obsession with perfection.
To me, the goal of being 'healthy' is not to spend all of your time thinking about your health. It's to feel good enough in your body that you can spend more time actually living your life.
